Right up my alley my friend. I was in the coatings and chemistry programs at EMU. I Studied pigments extensively. I love the simplicity of your writing, and I suspect you are correct. I have seen the effect many times. Why is the sky blue? Because our atmosphere absorbs all the visible yellow light.

Thank you, Greg! And good to hear from you! Yes, I remember your polymers and coatings focus in school. Here's something that you might find interesting that turned up in my research on this topic: https://www.sciencefriday.com/segments/day-glo-fluorescent/ They use a "cyanostar macrocycle" to hold the pigments in a checkerboard pattern within the polymer. Yes, I believe I do sometimes see and feel this translation of invisible light into glow! It’s related to the feeling of Joy!

Yes it is bright and cheerful…a bit too scientific for me, but I got the jist.

I am a quite bright colorful person in my daily style…We would mesh well.IRL.
